RAMEA ISLANDS - A group of islands four miles off the southern coast, district of Burgeo and La Polie. They are much resorted to in the month of August by fisherman for a superior kind of herring. Distance from Burgeo 10 miles by boat. Mail fortnightly. Population 185.
